I am Bunlai, the Project Coordinator for IT. I have learned with new knowledge that made me become more and more proficient in setting up the computer class with networking and power system with the strong support from project team. 

I studied the Computer Science at university, but I could not do it due to lack of practice.
At the same time, I also gained the new approaches working in building the strong relation and connection with DoE and school principals that I have never done this before. It greatly enhanced my abilities and values added to my experiences in dealing with the government officials, especially in the field of education. In addition, I also had the opportunity to be trained as the trainer and gained new knowledge from the discussion on computer teaching skills with computer teachers in high schools about the computer class curriculum. 

Furthermore, I was excited to have the computer book in place for the project after working in close relations school teachers to review and agreed with the book and presentation. We are ready to teach the students as soon as the schools are opened. On the other hand, the existing computer classes are not left behind, many teachers also benefited as they used the computer classes to learn the technologies on the online. At the moment, I am collaborating with computer instructors on lessons to teach online with the students.

I would also learn that the computer class is really important and beneficial to the students as it will make different to the lives of the students by the IT knowledge and skills they learnt. I feel very privileged with the job to help hundreds of students with IT Literacy.

Finance and Administration

Date of Birth: June 2, 2003

Born in a Christian family, Shining served the ministry by helping the children at kindergarten for 2 years at Graveyard and Slum Project. Shining also earned the certificates of MS Word, Excel and Power Point. She is continuing her education and will take up the Bachelor Degree in Finance and Banking soon.

With her faithfulness, Shining was trusted and assigned to support Bethel Mission Organization in Finance and Administration in 2019 where she is to promote, uphold, and demonstrate the core values, vision, mission and strategy and to protect and enhance the reputation, work effectiveness and efficiency, and culture of BMO.

Operation Advisor

I obtained a bachelor’s degree of Education from The Graduate Theological Foundation, Indiana (USA) in 2004. After receiving the degree, I attended the master’s programs at
the University of Management and Economics (UME) majoring in Management. In 2007, I received my master’s degree. In addition, I hold the certificates of being a qualified school counsellor and master trainer after having taken the courses in career guidance and counselling (CGC) offered in 2015 by more than ten experts from Finland.

I have had more than ten-year experience in working as an instructor of English: From 1997 to 2008, I worked at the COERR Center teaching adults.

Further, I worked as a part-time freelance lecturer at several universities in Battambang Province from November 2004 to December 2016. My main tasks include preparing course outline/course syllabus, recording teaching activities in the book provided by the university, developing lesson plans, correcting all relevant assignments and exam papers and monitoring students taking the exams as requested by University Deans.

I am also asked to participate in marketing activities, meeting with parents to discuss students’ academic performances as well as their concerns using counselling skills.

From July 2015 to December 13, 2016 I worked as Consultant to FCA. I also worked as the staff representative responsible for encouraging positive dialogues between staff and management and discussing HR policies at meetings from July 2019 to May 2022. During my term as the Interim Education Program Manager from August to December 2022, I led and managed the education team by supporting them in their duties in accordance with the strategic work plan to achieve the set goals.

As an Education Specialist from April 2021 to December 2023, I worked directly with the Cambodian

Government counterpart—the Vocational Orientation Department (VOD) under MoEYs to conduct academic meetings with relevant staff, technical working group members and teachers.

With more than eight-year professional experience in education projects especially CGC in the international organization Finn Church Aid (FCA), I carried out school counselling program for fifty target schools in Cambodia by working directly with the education advisor and Teacher Without Border (TWB) volunteers to provide capacity building, coaching and mentoring sessions to master trainers, school counsellors and stakeholders.

Executive Director

Date of Birth: July 10, 2000

Born as Buddhist family and converted into Christian child, youth and leader by the grace of God. In 2016, Panhavorn worked as a Volunteer at Phnom Penh New Life Church as a Video Camera Man and taught Guitar and Piano to the children and youth. 
At the same year, Panhavorn was call to be a group Leader in church for a teenager to follow up the new believers and to make them know more about JESUS. Every Wednesday, Panhavorn joined the group of Evangelist to share good News to people. 

In 2017, Panhavorn finished his English Study at Australian Centre for Education (ACE), MS.word & Excel, Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, and Corel draw. Currently, Panhavorn is studying at Royal University of Phnom Penh for Computer Science and Engineering.

With his passion for the ministry, Panhavorn was nominated in 2019 to the Executive Director to lead Bethel Mission Organization to work with the people living in the graveyards, the slums, the remote and poor communities and the prisons in order to promote and improve their livelihood and wellbeing by addressing their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. 

Youth Group Leader

Date of Birth: November 07, 1987

Sovanna grew in the Christian family for her father was the pastor and finished Bible School in 2005. She also completed a training on Basic Awareness on Trafficking when she was a teacher of English and Korean at Asia Gospel Mission. 

In 2012, Sovanna started to work with World Hope International and a year later, she left to be a teacher at Korean Church. 

In 2016, Sovanna moved to Goseong Galilee Church where she became a full-time teacher of English and Korean to Children Ministry in order to spread the gospels of God to the children and their families in Siem Reap province. Her husband is also the ministry pastor.

We invited Sovanna to join with Bethel Mission Organization in 2019 because she has great passion in sharing the gospel and helps people in need.

Church Relations Manager

Date of Birth: September 14, 1986

After finished High School in 2007, Singha Tith started his Bible Study at Agape Bible Institute and Seminary. In 2008, Singha Tith work as a teacher of English at his Bible School after quitting his job as a sale marketing at Mild Seven Company. 

Around 2018, Singha Tith became a full-time teacher of English and pastor at Goseong Gailee Church, Siem Reap province.  Singha Tith and his wife serve full-time in the ministry together. His wife teaches Korean Language and takes care of Children Ministry. Singha Tith is learning to ear a Bachelor Degree of Theology.

With the Great Passion for the ministry, we invited Singha Tith to join with Bethel Mission Organization in 2019 after our prayer and discernment from God as our Leader.

Operations Manager

Date of Birth: February 01, 1975

Sinuon lost parents in Khmer Rogue, struggled to live with her sister and brothers, and migrated to Thai Refugee Camp in 1983 to survival. With the strong support, she finished her High School in 1992 and returned to Cambodia.

After her relocation, Sinuon found life increasingly difficult and tried to explore some work with NGO at her young age. Blessedly, she was employed with different kinds of assignments including working with community as Social worker, interview evaluation for those who in need by partnership with local NGOs and church pastors in communities.

Sinuon became the believer of Jesus Christ in 2002 after her experience of God’s love since her young age in Thai Refugee Camp and started her family ministry since then to different provinces in Cambodia.
