Core Values

1. Servanthood: 
Acting in accordance with Christ’s love. We have a commitment to follow and serve Christ as our leader, and to learn from and follow the example of Jesus Christ by serving the needy in a holistic way, motivated by and reliant on God’s love. In the abundance of God’s love, we find our call to serve others. John 10:11

2. Compassion: 
Showing empathy for one another, understanding and caring for one another for our mutual development. Colossians 3:12 “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

3. Equality: Showing Equal Value: 
Everyone has equal value to God regardless of social standing, level of education, race, gender, sexual orientation, mental or physical capacity, or moral lifestyle – we are all loved. Deuteronomy 10:17

4. Integrity: Doing what is right. 
Working together with transparency and honesty in our relationships so that we do what we say we will do. 
Proverbs 20:7 “He took his purse filled with money and will not be home till full moon.”

5. Accountability: 
Taking responsibility for our actions, accepting and learning from both achievements and mistakes, and being a good role model. Romans 14:12 “So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.”

Code of Conduct:

Bethel Mission is a Christian based organization, and therefore expects its partners and employees to live a life that is consistent with biblical standards:
1.To love and serve others (Colossians 3:12-15; John 13:34-35; Romans 15:5; Ephesians 4:32)
2.To live a life consistent with the scriptures and refrain from following the desires of our sinful nature. (Galatians 5:19-21; 1 Corinthians 6:12-20; Colossians 3:5-9)
3.To maintain the highest ethical standards in ministry and personal life. (1 Timothy 3:1-7;      Titus 3:2-7)
4.To be an example of Christ in overall life – in speech, faith, purity, love. (1 Timothy 4:12; Philippians2:14-15; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; Colossians 3:12-17; Ephesians 5:2; Colossians 3:17)
