History

Sirivuth knows first-hand the pain of his land. He was born in 1970 at the start of General Long Nol’s dictatorship which lasted till 1975. His father, a commercial pilot, was accused of bombing and killing people during the General’s time in power. While Sirivuth survived the Khmer Rouge regime in the ensuing years from 1975 to 1979, his two siblings died. By the end of those nightmare years, he was left with only his mother.
Sirivuth was called to serve within the international and national NGOs, private sectors and family ministry since 2001. After 20 years of ministry and professional experience in different management, leadership and directorship with World Vision Cambodia, Prison Fellowship, Koampia Phum Yoeung, with Discernment and Prayer, Sirivuth founded Bethel Mission Organization (BMO) in 2019 in order to improve and promote the livelihood and the well-being of people living in the graveyard, slum, the poor rural communities and in prisons in order to address their spiritual and social needs
